Jim Myers Morgan | Storyteller, Editor, Leader
I am an editorial, communications, strategy development and performance excellence expert with more than two decades of experience helping organizations improve their brand messaging, processes and results. As an energetic leader, I have a passion for building and fostering healthy and productive teams. I have extensive expertise in technical writing, speechwriting, content development, editing, member engagement, public relations and establishing cross-functional collaborations with a wide range of roles, including executive leaders, community stakeholders and industry experts. I currently serve in dual roles for the Tulsa Regional Chamber: senior vice president of communications, and vice president of quality.
I hold a graduate certificate in executive leadership through the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University; an MFA from the University of Southern California; and a degree in journalism from the University of Tulsa. I am a graduate of the Schnake Turnbo Frank Leadership and Reputation Academy, and a certified quality examiner for the Oklahoma Quality Foundation.
My colleagues know me as a dedicated, collaborative and methodical leader with a skill for improvement, whether through the editing of written content or the refinement of organizational processes. My friends know me as an avid reader, film buff and comic book enthusiast. And my two young daughters know me as a pushover.
